About Real Estate Reflections
Hello and thank you for visiting! I'm delighted to welcome you to Real Estate Reflections, a place where I share the insights accumulated over a rich and dynamic career.

Who I Am
My name is Jeff Sorg, and I've worn a few different hats over the years:
-
Real Estate Broker: I spent 48 years of navigating the complexities of the real estate market, from residential sales to commercial transactions. I've seen it all, and those experiences form the foundation of the lessons I share here.
-
Trainer: For many years, I had the pleasure of training and mentoring new and experienced agents. I learned that distilling complex information into actionable, understandable steps is key—a skill I now bring to this blog.
-
Author: My passion for writing and teaching led me become a licensed vocational instructor in many states and to author and publish several guides and training manuals including real estate and mortgage broker licensing and continuing education course books.

What I Share
Now that I'm retired, I've shifted my focus from closing deals and training to distilling my decades of professional experience into actionable lessons and helpful advice. This blog is my way of giving back and continuing to explore the world around us.
You can expect posts on:
-
Reflections on my Career: Stories and takeaways from my time in real estate.
-
Life Lessons: Wisdom gained from both professional successes and challenges.
-
New Information: Exploring current events, new technologies, and topics outside of real estate that capture my interest.
This space is built on the premise that sharing what you have learned to in some way help others should never stop—there's always something new to share, one post at a time.

A Quick Note
While I like to discuss real estate, please remember I am no longer an actively licensed broker. For all professional real estate, legal, or tax advice, please consult the appropriate licensed professional. (But I am always happy to provide a referral!)
I look forward to connecting with you either here or on LinkedIn.
